Does Konfetti Camera work on Android?
Yes. Guests join in the browser with nothing to install, and hosts can create and run a whole event on the web, from any device, Android included.
Guests: scan the code, shoot from the browser
Any phone with a camera and a browser works. Android guests scan the same QR code as everyone else, type a first name, and the camera opens right in the browser, with no app store, no account, and no password. Their photos land in the same shared album, at the same quality.
Hosts: run your event from the web
The web app covers the full host flow: create your event, pick a cover, set how many shots each guest gets, print the QR code, watch the shot counter climb, and reveal the album when you're ready, all at konfetticamera.app in the browser.
And the iOS app?
On iPhone there's a native app for hosts, and iPhone guests get an App Clip when they scan. If you're on Android you aren't missing anything: joining and hosting both work in the browser, and the album everyone shares is exactly the same.
FAQ
Android questions, answered
- Is there a Konfetti Camera app for Android?
- Not yet, and you don't need one. Guests join by scanning the event's QR code and shoot straight from the browser; hosts can create and manage events on the web at konfetticamera.app.
- Can Android guests add photos to the album?
- Yes. Scanning the event QR code opens the camera in the browser on any phone, Android or iPhone. Photos develop into the same shared album at the same quality.
- Can I host an event from an Android phone?
- Yes. The web app supports everything a host needs: create the event, customize the cover, print the QR code, follow the shots coming in, and reveal the album.
- Do Android guests need an account?
- No. A first name is all it takes; there is nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.
- Will there be a native Android app?
- Maybe one day. For now the browser is the Android experience, and it's a complete one: the sealed album, the reveal, and the shared camera all work the same.
